Funnel & Offers
The complete offer map for DropSites: what sells on day one, what gets added later, and the prices on both sides of the drop. Phase 1 is deliberately tiny β easy to make, sell over and over, quick edits only. Everything richer is designed, priced, and waiting in the drawer.
The Discount Frame
Drop week is a sale on everything, not just the dollar site β and the deeper the rung, the deeper the cut. The drop is the event; the $1 site is the door-buster. The $99 Install + SEO Setup (regular $299) is the no-brainer sitting right behind it.
| Offer | During the drop | Regular price | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| The DropSite | $1 Β· first 50 copies | $99 | Same files both times. Cap enforced by a 50-use code |
| Marketing Playbook 2027 | $27 | $47 | Order bump at checkout. Digital, instant |
| Brand It Pack | $49 | $99 | The 17-field quick edit β name, phone, email, colors, logo, hours, areas |
| Install + SEO Setup | $99 | $299 | We install the site on their domain and host, then configure all the SEO with their real local data and get it indexed |
Phase 1 Offers β The Launch Menu
$1 The DropSite Phase 1
Complete six-page niche business website as a ZIP. Static HTML/CSS/JS, works anywhere, owned forever. Ships with SEO structure, schema types and editable copy built in.
Fulfillment: zero β it's a download.
$27 Marketing Playbook 2027 Phase 1
The order bump on the $1 checkout: a local marketing playbook with a simple SEO plan β ideas, channels, a 12-month calendar for a service business. One document, built once, sells forever. Also works later as the free lead magnet for the voting board.
Fulfillment: zero β it's a download.
$49 Brand It Pack Phase 1
The quick-edit tier β exactly the "extremely simple fixes" rung. The customer fills one form; the 17 fields get injected across every page via config.js: company, phone, email, address, city, service areas, hours, year founded, license, certifications, rating, review count, social links, logo, accent color.
Fulfillment: form-fill, ~15 minutes. The machinery already exists in Drop #001.
$99 Install + SEO Setup Phase 1
"You have the website code. You have the marketing playbook. Now you need it installed and optimized so you can be found." This rung does both halves:
- Install: site live on their domain and host (or ours) β DNS connected, SSL on, contact form tested, analytics on
- Localize: real business name, address, phone and license in schema and footer, matched to their Google Business Profile
- Get found: their real service areas in titles, meta descriptions and
areaServed, their towns in the service-area sections - Activate: XML sitemap, robots.txt, Search Console submission, indexation, social/OG tags with their brand
Regular price $299 β $99 during the drop. Fulfillment: systemized checklist, 60β90 minutes. This is the one sanctioned work rung in Phase 1 β and it is the gateway to the $19/mo hosting customer. No new content writing β that's the Content Pack's job later.
Built In vs Paid β The Honest Split
What the $1 site ships with
The SEO architecture: correct heading hierarchy, schema types in place (LocalBusiness, FAQ), title and meta templates, clean page structure. This is what most do-it-yourself small-business sites get wrong β but it is wired to sample data and a sample city. It is structure, not optimization.
What the $99 Install + SEO Setup adds
The installation, localization and activation: the site actually live on their domain, their real business data everywhere Google looks, their real towns and service areas, Google Business Profile consistency, and getting it indexed. This is per-customer work that cannot ship in a template β which is exactly why it can be sold.
The Full Ladder β Add These Later
Designed and priced now so the funnel has a ceiling to grow into. Not in Phase 1
| Rung | Drop price | Regular | What it is | Fulfillment | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Content Pack | $99 | $199 | Copy rewritten around their services, reviews and story (AI-drafted from intake) | Form-fill + review | After 2β3 drops of funnel data |
| Image Pack | $49 | $99 | Their photos swapped in, resized and optimized | Form-fill | With Content Pack |
| Brand + Content bundle | $129 | $258 | Both packs, one price | Same as above | With Content Pack |
| Launch Complete | $499 | $999 | Install + SEO + Brand + Content + Google Business Profile setup, social profiles, 30-day support | Systemized β cap 3β5/mo | Phase 3 |
| The Custom Build | $1,500 | $3,000 | Their business, custom sections, copy call, bespoke touches. Also the freelancer's "bespoke for my client" product | Real work β cap 1β2/mo | Phase 3 |
Recurring Stack Phase 2β3
| Tier | Price | What's in it | Who fulfills | Unlocks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Managed Hosting | $19/mo | Hosting, SSL, backups, updates | Us | With Launch It |
| Marketing Lite | $199/mo | Google Business Profile optimization, 4 posts/mo, citations, review engine | White-label partner | ~10 hosting customers |
| Growth | $399/mo | Above + local SEO, 8 posts/mo, backlinks, monthly report | White-label partner | ~10 hosting customers |
| Lead Engine | $599/mo | Above + ads management + AI chatbot, missed-call text-back, lead pipeline | White-label + our tooling | Proven demand from Growth |
SEO and marketing stay white-labeled per the locked decision β DropSites sells the plan, a partner delivers it, the margin stays. The AI receptionist tier is the natural sell for the urgency niches: a plumber who misses a call loses money tonight.

Funnel Mechanics
Social proof on the drop pages: a waiting-list ticker ("Jess R. from Plano, TX joined the HVAC Drop waiting list") driven by a static opt-in list β not live by design, entries tagged per drop so it works with several drops running at once. Fed by the real waitlist export as signups arrive (the one placeholder-OK surface).
At checkout
- Product: the DropSite, $1, 50-use code enforcing the cap
- Order bump checkbox: Marketing Playbook 2027, $27
- Checkout question (one field): use for my business / for a client / resell / just looking
After purchase
- Thank-you page: one offer β Brand It first, then SEO Setup (one decision per page, never a wall of options)
- Bump mechanic repeats on pack purchases: Brand It β "add the Logo Kit," SEO Setup β "add GBP optimization" (later phases)
Email sequence
| When | Message |
|---|---|
| Day 0 | Files delivered + how to use them + Brand It offer ("don't want to edit files? 17 fields, done for you") |
| Day 3 | Install + SEO Setup offer β "you have the code and the playbook; now get it live and findable." $99 during the drop week, $299 after |
| Day 7 | "Want us to keep it running?" β managed hosting interest capture ($19/mo) |
| Day 30 | Next drop announcement + the discount window returns Friday |
Cohort Math
One drop cohort β $850β1,650 one-time from a $50 front end, and that is Phase 1 only. When Phase 2β3 unlocks, each cohort also plants recurring revenue (3 Growth customers = $1,200/mo that compounds every drop). By roughly drop five, the recurring side should outgrow the one-time side β that is the business.
Guardrails
- 1. Zero-work rule holds everywhere except one rung. The drop, the playbook and Brand It must never create per-customer work beyond a form-fill. The $99 Install + SEO Setup is the single sanctioned work rung β checklist-driven, 60β90 minutes β and it is the gateway to the hosting customer.
- 2. Cap the human rungs. Launch Complete 3β5/mo, Custom Build 1β2/mo, or the founding rule quietly dies.
- 3. Real prices only. The regular price must be a price someone can actually pay after Sunday. Fake anchors are fake scarcity with different clothes.
- 4. No ranking promises on the SEO Setup. It is configuration and indexation.
- 5. Recurring waits for the hosting base (~10 customers). No white-label marketing tier before there is a stable base to attach it to.
- 6. One decision per page. The ladder works because each step asks one question.
Support & Refunds β The Dead-Simple Layer
Two jobs only: make it dead simple for people, and prevent refund requests. Support itself is not part of the product β we sell files β so the design rule is simple: we never give technical instructions; we tell people where the answers live. "Your provider's own help center covers this β here's the link" is pointing, not supporting.
Phase 1 The Start-Here PDF β the only support artifact
One printable PDF ships inside the ZIP and rides in the delivery email: four steps to live (get a domain β get hosting β connect the two β make it yours), written in plain language with zero server names, nameserver values or provider-specific instructions. Each step says what to do and then points to the answer: the official help centers of Namecheap, Hostinger, Netlify and Cloudflare β the companies that actually provide the services.
- Refund prevention: the PDF's real job is the "you've got this β one afternoon" moment and the exact order of operations. Paralysis is the refund driver; the map kills paralysis.
- Liability boundary, stated kindly in the PDF: what's included (the files, this guide, the license) and what isn't (technical support for domains, hosting or third-party services β that's what those companies' help centers are for).
Phase 1 offers are the locked launch menu. Later-phase prices are mapped so the funnel has a ceiling β they unlock by trigger, not by enthusiasm.
